Dmitri is mummy's son thru & thru, wouldn't you all agree? Just look at those poses... even mummy was TRES surprised! Tak ajar pun tau! ha ha!
(To those who didn't know, Dmi's mummy was known for always "striking a pose" whenever there's a camera click, click, clicking away back in varsity days... ask Aunt Nita! teehee!!)

Dmitri doesn't realize he's being cute - even when he's sulking! He gets so much attention it's little worrying sometimes!
Character-wise, Dmi's really as different as night & day compared to Ian. While Ian is a bit reserved, Dmi is rather "showy". Ian a little timid, Dmi a force to be reckoned with. Well, those traits just make them very, very special to mummy & daddy!
Oh, the most obvious: Ian - being the first born - could do without the little brother and rather enjoys time off sans Dmi... but Dmi, on the other hand, just adores his big "bruver"!

Hola people!
It's been sometime since the last update but mummy's been distracted by work (again!) and pure lazy (always)! Also - mummy's been busy editing daddy's fotopage (that's the reason it's so cool and an enjoyable read - haha!). N'way to Auntie Camy, Auntie Nita, Auntie Momoi, Auntie Umi & Hanny in Japan, Auntie "yang merindui mummy" & all - here's a sneak peek of what-has-beens  - enjoysss!

Ian's first day at School

Time really flies in a super sonic jet... Mummy's little Ian is now in Primary One!
Ian was really excited, and he's very independent even on the first day - not wanting mummy to hold his hand, and being so cool about going to the canteen on his own during break (mummy was 3 min late), and going to the toilet all alone - sans "accidents or spills"!
Mummy & daddy are soooooooo proud of you, Ian! You're going to be a fine young man...
Fly little bird, fly... it's time for you to explore the world...
(ouch, a tad too emotional aren't you, mommy? teehee)

Mummy's best bud Auntie Ingrid gave birth to a gorgeous, gorgoeus, gorgeous baby girl MIA QISTINA ZAHRAA on Dec 17. She's all sweetness... and just gorgeous - the baby I mean  !!
But of course, Auntie Ingrid is also her usual vogue-self, regardless of the fact that she has just given birth! Just look at the photos!!

Ian & Dmi's Mak Ngah delivered her fourth bundle of joy early Dec. A schweet baby gal named Aufa (er, have you guys decided on the second name?)!
Mummy & daddy bought a pair of baby clothes, in PINK of course & a set of booties + mittens & also a frilly baby hairband... Although Baby Aufa is only 2 days old when mummy & daddy went to visit, terus kena "kerjakan" ngan mummy... See, she's soooo pretty with the hairband nicely placed on her tiny head & the mittens - they're just adorable!!! Our darling Princess, she definitely is...

The New Kid on the Block -- Qurratu A'in!

It has been sometime since mummy last updated this fp due to her crazy schedule (blame da boss! blame da boss! teehee) and also, laziness!
Neeway, this is esp dedicated to the sweetest and cutest bebe gal on earth, Baby Ratu A'in!! (When Aunt Jaja was in KL some 2 months back, mummy & gang had a li'l gathering for the new mom & cute baby of hers!)
We can't wait to meet her Aunt Jaja! Please come over to our place the next time you & bebe are in KL... ~ian&dmi~

Makan-makan at Atuk's
|
|
The weekend after we got back from JB, we had another series of makan-makan... this time at Atuk's place in Keramat.
First we went for a "satay session" at Satay Melaka, Lembah Keramat. It was the end of the month (gaji time!) so there were loads of people there. We waited for what seemed AGES before food was finally served! Kids (Ian, Dmi, Syukran, Wardah & Afif) were restless & cranky... Luckily there was also "side-menu" - soto... So mummy ordered a few bowls for the kids, to keep their hunger pang (also, crankiness ) away...
Then there was the New Year-cum-birthday-cum-anniversary celebration. Birthdays in Dec: Wan, Mak Lang, K. Faridah & Hilmi. It was also Atuk & Wan's 35th anniversary (25 Dec) ~  ...here's for another 35 years, Atuk & Wan  !!
